Seismic Modelling Software

NORSAR is at the forefront internationally regarding development of commercial software products and services in the field of seismic oil and gas prospecting.

The core application for NORSAR seismic modelling packages are 2D and 3D seismic ray modelling, survey planning, Green's functions for PSDM, reservoir analysis and time-to-depth conversion based on ray tracing. However, the modular design of NORSAR’s software allows packages to be tailored to individual project requirements.

NORSAR software products are used by the leading E&P companies throughout the world. The products are supported by an experienced sales, services and support team from our main office in Norway.

Announcing NORSAR-3D 5.5
NORSAR-3D
5.5
Version 5.5 of NORSAR-3D introduces new tools for survey planning and illumination studies based on the Illumination Ray (IRAY) concept. With these new tools you can quickly study the ray coverage at a target point just by clicking in the model, intuitively getting valuable insight into your illumination challenge.

A new fully integrated 3D Viewer is introduced with the ability to plot all data and modelling results in a NORSAR project.
